Westside Speech and Language is a small private speech therapy practice focused on the various speech and language needs of preschool through high-school age students around Rochester, NY. We have years of providing IEP services to a variety of students in various schools and educational settings. Westside Speech and Language is able to perform comprehensive speech and language evaluations to evaluate an individual’s communication skills and develop individualized plans based on testing results.

Our Process: How to Get Started with Speech Therapy Services for Your Child

- We will arrange a thorough speech and language evaluation, or a phonemic awareness/ reading assessment with a licensed speech-language pathologist.
- Speech and language evaluation may include observing your child’s communication in various settings, standardized tests, and parent interviews to understand your child’s unique needs.
Developing the Plan:
- Based on the evaluation results, our team will create a personalized therapy plan tailored to your child’s specific needs and goals.
- We will review the plan with you, explaining our recommendations.
